Information is physical and thus our use of language is subject to the principles of physics. We ignore their great truths at our peril. The essay illustrates how we can use that wisdom to evaluate the sustainability of our use of language. <\/strong>
In particular, it details an evaluation of ChatGPT, which is based on The Crown dialect of English, the dominant language of our contemporary Anglo culture. This dialect arose with the English Combustion Revolution and the associated belief that Earth\u2019s atmosphere works like a greenhouse. <\/strong>
The conclusion is that ChatGPT, like all similar AI, puts us at grave peril.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
